@Joshua Castro: Book of Esther doesn't mention God's name at all. Bet you don't like that either.

@Daniel Curry

Though the Book of Esther doesn't say the name God. It's shows us a picture of the Lord Jesus, and every book in the Holy Scriptures point to Jesus not man! The question is do we have spiritual eyes to see Christ in the Word! I believe this because Luke 24:27 says "And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. So I would believe Esther speaks of the Savior as well though the name God isn't shown.

Now I agree with Joshua though this song was very creative. Christ wasn't mentioned in it much. It seems like Christians who rap now are starting to blend in with the culture more than be set apart from the world (Which is the meaning of the word Holy).

Now we can't say this based on these brothers lifestyles, but from the songs released lately it shows. And in a way it gives us a look into their lives because Christ said "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks".

Again I'm not judging anyone, but I believe we shouldn't Amen everything Reach is doing or anyone else for that matter. Instead we should test it with the Word of God, and base our Amens off the Word of God!

Guys seriously, not every song has to scream Jesus 800 times to be meaningful. If you can make good music that anyone will listen to and get that hint of, "This is all about God" that's a job well done. Keep up the good work Andy!

For those who think that this song doesn't have enough "Jesus" in it. Within the first 30 seconds you have Andy mentioning "formally known" which is his new album and speaks about God's transformation in his life. Then you have Saturday Morning Car-toonz where he says "get your breakfast." What's your breakfast? The Word of God. Also he talks about being a fisher of men so he casts nets, which is a metaphor to spreading the Gospel. All this in just the first 30seconds. I would encourage listeners to pay more attention and look into Andy's creativity and how the Spirit and the Word is the driving force behind his work.

Luke
– Apr 3 2013

After listening to the words closely. This song truly lifts up the name of Christ, and though Andy isn't actually saying Jesus. He is boasting about Jesus in a huge way! Amen Andy and Reach for this work!

@The Lord's Servant

Well please explain how this song does not point to Jesus? Andy brings up many biblical standards such as loyalty to your wife, honesty in all aspects of life, all of those things point to God and they are not wrong things to say. The Book of Esther is the same thing - the story of a woman who in the face of death, chooses to take bravery and stand for what is right and protect innocent people.

I don't think you are shooting down Andy specifically, but I just put this up in case someone else was - Andy is still honoring God with what he does and this is testament to that.

God bless yo!
