Biography
Born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Alexxander grew up surrounded by music, faith, and a culture full of life. His grandfather was a member of La Orquesta Nater, and his father, Luis Santiago, a renowned gospel artist in the Latin space, was also a pioneer of love ballads with Christian values. This rich artistic heritage shaped Alexxander’s journey, inspiring him to use music as a way to connect and glorify God.
Even though his love for music has always existed, his desire to create came from the songwriting aspect, having a deep passion for poetry and Psalms. This has helped him to express his thoughts and emotions, always innovating while staying true to the core message of his relationship with God, everyday struggles, and the stories of people around him.
Now as a prolific songwriter, Alexxander has composed over 100 songs for both urban Christian music and worship. His work has earned him more than 10 million views on YouTube and millions of streams across digital platforms, a testament to the impact of his art.
With a sound that fuses reggaeton and Latin rhythms with influences from pop, rock, and EDM, Alexxander has carved a unique space in the Christian scene. Over the years, he’s released transformative tracks like “Todo Por Ti,” “De Camino,” and “SANAME,“ resonating with millions of listeners worldwide. His collaborations with artists like Christian Ponce, El Sica, Indiomar, Kim Richards, GabrielEmc, and Jay Kalyl have further contributed to his artistic path.
His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. The artist has been nominated for awards like Premios Galardón, Premio Águila, and Premio Soberano and also participated in the first-ever Latin Music Showcase at the Dove Awards 2023, reflecting his growing influence in the global community.
Looking ahead, he continues to push boundaries. With a six-month single-release campaign planned for 2025, an upcoming performance at Flow Fest in Guatemala this February, and more to be announced, he remains committed to crafting music that inspires, uplifts, and connects. For him, every song is an opportunity to share God’s love and remind people of His grace.
Alexxander, who recently married Rebekah, is fueled by faith, family, and a relentless enthusiasm for creativity. He is a voice for this generation.
